When things no longer hold
I support people in times of transition, re-orientation and grief,
especially when familiar structures no longer hold.
This can be a time when orientation has not yet returned.
Where something has ended and what comes next is not yet clear.
Grief, emotional strain, and disorientation are understood as meaningful responses to real loss and change - both personal and collective.
In the context of ongoing global shifts and changing conditions, these responses are not isolated, but part of a wider human landscape.
We begin with what is present
With what is asking for attention now,
in your life, your relationships, your current situation.
In this work, there is no expectation to resolve or overcome quickly.
Processes are approached with space, time, and careful attention.
Working with what cannot yet be named
At times, what is most present does not yet have clear words.
It may appear as tension, restlessness, numbness, or a sense of being unmoored.
Alongside conversation, the work can include attention to the body,
to perception, and to simple forms of expression -
such as drawing, voice, or other ways of giving form
to what is not yet fully articulated.
Stability, pace and integration
The pace of the work is guided by your current capacity.
There is a focus on stability, attunement, and integration.
This may include strengthening the ability to remain present,
to regulate the nervous system,
and to sense what is needed in a given moment or phase of life.
At times, this also involves working with earlier experiences and relational patterns, always in a way that supports grounding rather than overwhelm.
Witnessing
A central aspect of the work is witnessing.
Experiences can be seen and held without being pushed,
interpreted, or resolved prematurely.
This creates conditions in which something can shift - not through force,
but through contact, time, and coherence.
The way I work
My work is attentive, grounded and relational.
Rather than isolating symptoms, we work with context, available resources, and current strain. The work is relational and responsive rather than directive.
It may include working with inner parts of the personality, as well as with the nervous system as a central point of orientation.
The aim is to support conditions under which stability, orientation and regulation can emerge over time.
Not everything needs to be resolved in order to become workable.
For some, experiences of transition and disorientation may also connect to earlier layers of life,
including early separation or questions of belonging.
If this speaks to you, you may find more here.
Support
I work in both individual and small group settings and support people who are experiencing:
• life transitions and re-orientation after biographical ruptures
• emotional strain, anxiety, or ongoing stress
• states of low mood, exhaustion, or loss of orientation
• grief following death, separation, or other significant loss
Support can be short-term and orienting, or unfold over a longer period of time.
Grief Circles & Rituals
In addition to individual work, I offer small grief circles and grief tending rituals.
These are quiet, structured spaces where grief can be present without being directed or resolved.
In these settings, shared witnessing becomes central.
In my world grief is not something to be carried alone.
Grief circles are offered online and in Copenhagen,
and grief rituals take place on Møn.
This work is informed by The Art of Grief Tending, the lineage of Francis Weller, and related approaches to communal and ritual-based grief work.
At present, these offerings are not publicly scheduled.
If you are interested, you are very welcome to get in touch.
Background
My work is grounded in clinical psychology
and training in palliative care, including the Institute for Palliative Psychology,
as well as training and facilitation in grief tending practices.
It is further shaped by ongoing study in collective trauma and integration processes, including work in the context of Timeless Wisdom Training with Thomas Hübl.
The work also draws on approaches that engage inner parts and relational dynamics, as well as on long-term engagement with contemplative practices.
